COMTAS members went for an experiential visit trip to Wales and London, United Kingdom

On 27/2 until 7/3/2023, 7 members of Consortium on Mobility and Transportation in An Ageing Society (COMTAS) went for an experiential visit trip to Wales and London, United Kingdom. COMTAS consist of researchers from three universities: Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Sains Malaysia and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.  COMTAS is funded by the Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education.

The aim of the visit was to review opportunities and identifying potential partners in the UK regarding mobility and transport systems in an age friendly environment, and to gain knowledge and information on how the local government plans an age-friendly mobility and transport system.

We also would like to thank our host, Prof. Dr. Charles Musselwhite, Chair Psychology Department, Aberystwyth University who has arranged comprehensive programs including meetings, discussions and visit at related agencies/ service providers, and attended Centre for Ageing and Dementia Research (CADR) conference.  Prof. Musselwhite is also CADR Co-Director. https://www.drcharliemuss.com
