Conducive Public Sector Ecosystem (EKSA)

EKSA, introduced since January 2014, is a rebranding of the Public Sector 5S Practice. It is one of the initiatives towards improving the quality of government service delivery. This rebranding initiative is in line with current changes and requirements that consistently emphasize performance improvement and organizational competitiveness, while also fostering a culture of creativity and innovation among departments/agencies in the public sector.

At the UPM level, EKSA is also one of the assessment criteria for the PTJ Star Rating.

The main components in implementing EKSA are based on the 5S Practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) and enhanced with the addition of several new elements, namely:

  • Corporate Image;
    Creativity and Innovation;
    Green Practices;
    Conducive Environment; and
    Agency Diversity.
