SERDANG, January 10 – The Malaysian Institute Research on Ageing (MyAgeing™) gymnasium has officially opened to the public. Last Tuesday, Prof. Ir. Dr. Siti Anom, the Director of MyAgeing™, officially opened the Gym.
On the first day of operation, this gym was visited by seniors from various associations, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) staff, and members of the Serdang community. MyAgeing™ is offering a RM10 membership package to those who register on the first day. Visitors who attended the gym's opening day had their health checked as well. The gym will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Meanwhile, MyAgeing™ aspires to be an intellectual and physical hub in research, development, and commercialization (RDCI), human capital development, and professional ageing services to improve the well-being of seniors, families, and communities. Furthermore, MyAgeing™ serves as a national coordinating centre for gerontology, geriatrics, and gerontechnology research.
