What does MyAgeing™ offer researchers?

MyAgeing™ offers researchers the opportunity to explore recent science and technology on ageing in Malaysia with state-of-art and sophisticated facilities as well as with the numbers of professional staff to deliver the best services and assistance.

Who can apply?

All recognize scientist researchers, academicians and students in social, science and technology on ageing fields. We welcome those receive research grants from the authorities, private agencies or international organization.


Postgraduate Study

I wish to enroll as a postgraduate student in MyAgeing™. May I know the programmes of study offered?

Two graduate degree programmes are offered, which are Master of Science (MSc.) and Doctor Philosophy (Ph.D). Both programmes require students to submit a thesis and undergo coursework.
The fields of study are:

  • Social Gerontology
  • Medical Gerontology
  • Gerontechnology

    What are the qualifications required for admission to the postgraduate programs at MyAgeing?

    1. Master of Science (MSc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a CGPA of at least 2.75.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 must demonstrate at least 3 years of professional experience in a related field and/or pass a special examination. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a CGPA of less than 2.50 must have at least 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
  •   2. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.)
  • Master’s degree in a field related to the PhD.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.75 or equivalent to a first class degree.

    What does the MyAgeing™ offer for the private sectors and industries?

    Besides providing research facilities, MyAgeing™ also offers services and facilities to the private sectors and industries coordinated by the service unit under the laboratories such as Social Gerontology, Medical Gerontology, and Gerontechnology. Nevertheless, these units also provide professional consultations.

    What does MyAgeing™  offer the local community?

    Our elderly care dayCARE services are designed for busy working professionals who want to ensure that their parents receive the necessary care and oversight during the day. It is adult-sitting for your elderly so you can live your life undisrupted at work, handle chores or relax and focus on yourself, knowing they are in good hands.

    Apart from elderly day care services, what other community outreach programs or initiatives does MyAgeing™ offer?

    MyAgeing™ frequently holds educational workshops or seminars for the general public to raise awareness about aging-related issues and solutions.
