SERDANG, February 23- The University of Malaya Medical Center (PPUM) paid a benchmark visit to the Malaysian Aging Research Institute (MyAgeing™) yesterday.

Prof. Ir. Dr. Siti Anom Ahmad, Director of MyAgeing™  YBhg, welcomed the visit.

"According to PPUM's Head of Human Resources Department, En Khairul Anuar Yahya, the purpose of this visit is to acquire information and procedures for the construction of a transit centre for parents of staff and information regarding activities connected to the elderly in MyAgeing™".

"The concept observed from MyAgeing™ with limited space at PPUM has opened new ideas from PPUM regarding concepts that can be applied and modified to PPUM," says the Head of department of Human Resource, PPUM.

"The director of MyAgeing™  hopes that this milestone visit will open up space and chances for the PPUM to achieve their goal for a day care centre for the elderly in the future," she said.

Mrs. Farah Deena Zainol, Head of Experimentation Unit, Dr. Rajna Anthony, Science Officer Mrs. Suhailah Abdullah, and Ms. Siti Aisyah Nor Akahbar were also present during the presentation session.
