About the Journal

 

The Malaysian Journal of Ageing Studies is published by the Malaysian Research Institute on Ageing (MyAgeing™), Universiti Putra Malaysia. MJAS is an open-access journal and is published once a year in December. The aim of MJAS is to provide a platform for the publication of research papers as well as for general reference, particularly in understanding contemporary issues, theories, and current developments in the study of aging. MJAS accepts contributions from all disciplines, such as Social Gerontology, Medical Gerontology, Gerontechnology, policy, demography, psychology, tourism, cultural Gerontology, well-being, economics, environmental aging, Environmental Gerontology, and sustainable development. Submitted papers can also encompass a variety of topics considered relevant, appropriate, and important for understanding aging across trans- and multidisciplinary fields.
