SERDANG, 4 JANUARY - SPD Scientific (M) Sdn Bhd has invited the Malaysian Aging Research Institute (MyAgeing™) to conduct a pilot study on the accuracy assessment in the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.

Researchers from the fields of ageing and Alzheimer's disease were also present at yesterday's initial discussion at MyAgeing™. Prof. Ir. Dr. Siti Anom Ahmad, Director of MyAgeing™, moderated this discussion. Dato' Dr. Tengku Aizan Hamid, an ageing expert, and Alzheimer's specialist Dr. Hakimah Mohammad Sallehuddin were also present. 

In general, Alzheimer's disease is a progressive disease that causes a person to forget memories and deteriorates mental function. Alzheimer's disease can also contribute to an individual's dementia-related causes.
