Serdang, January 31, 2024 - Dr. Mohd Shaiful Azlan Bin Kassim, a Public Health Medical Specialist at the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), who is also a candidate for the Public Health Subspecialty (Family Health) with a specialization in Elderly Health, has completed a one-month attachment training at the Malaysian Aging Research Institute (MyAgeing™) today.
Dr. Mohd Shaiful Azlan Bin Kassim expresses his gratitude and appreciation for the guidance he has received from his supervisors, Associate Professor Dr. Halimatus Sakdiah Minhat, Director of MyAgeing™, as well as Dr. Siti Aisah binti Mokhtar, Head of the Medical Gerontology Program, and laboratory staff, academic staff, as well as all administrative and support staff.
Among the main activities carried out by Dr. Mohd Shaiful Azlan Bin Kassim was a community project with the MyAgeing Elderly Activity Center Organization (PAWE) (tag FB PAWE MyAgeing). He was also actively involved in guiding lectures and health consultations to PAWE MyAgeing members on healthy aging, and elderly health issues, especially awareness and screening for dementia.
Certificate presentations and souvenirs were also presented by the Director of MyAgeing™, Associate Professor Dr. Halimatus Sakdiah Minhat.
